Aim

The Turkish & Eurasian Studies Laboratory is a research institution of the Department of International & European Studies of the Faculty of Economics, Business and International Studies of the University of Piraeus.

The TES Lab was founded in 2015 and aims to cover research and educational needs at undergraduate and postgraduate level in the fields of Turkish & Eurasian Studies in the University of Piraeus. More precisely the Lab focuses on the study of areas and countries that enter its scope through an International Politics (IR & Strategy), International and European Organization, and International Economic Relations approach.

In order to attain its scientific aims the TES Lab consists of various research groups in which faculty members and young researchers engage in the study of specific areas, countries and issues. The results of these activities are made public in a series of publications. Moreover, the TES Lab organizes public lectures, colloquiums, and conferences dealing with questions related to Turkish & Eurasian Studies.
